During IGN Fan Fest, developer Telltale has released a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming The Expanse: A Telltale Series. The trailer gives us a great look at the upcoming game, including the kind of Telltale-styled gameplay the studio is known for.
Going by the trailer, players will be able to explore quite a few places in The Belt, including derelict and destroyed ships, and sites of gruesome pirate attacks. It is worth noting that the trailer features footage from a pre-alpha build of the game.
The Expanse: A Telltale Series puts players in the shoes of Camina Drummer—played by Cara Gee—as she explores the intricate setting of The Belt from the cult-classic books and TV series, The Expanse. The Expanse: A Telltale Series was originally announced all the way back in December 2021. It looks like developer Deck Nine—known for Life is Strange: True Colors—is also involved with the development of The Expanse: A Telltale Series.
Telltale is yet to announce a solid release date for The Expanse: A Telltale Series, but it is expected to release in Summer 2023.
