While Payday 3 players continue to wait for the first major patch, which has gone for testing and certification, Starbreeze Studios is working to address feedback. The progression system has been a pain point since Challenges are the only way to earn Infamy Points.
The problem is receiving none for completing heists, never mind the additional objectives. In a new official post, the developer said it’s looking at balancing challenges and offering Infamy Points for each heist. While there’s no ETA on when this will be implemented and in what form, it will “come back with more information on what this looks like soon.”
After the team can deliver patches consistently, it will discuss content plans. Free content updates will go live before the year ends, though more information is still pending. Two additional patches are in the works, while the first paid DLC, Syntax Error, is planned for release in December. Stay tuned for more details on these, hopefully in the coming weeks.
Payday 3 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Check out our review here.
